Three people have been killed while three others were injured in a murder-suicide early Monday morning, according to NBC News.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire shortly before 2 a.m. ET inside a residence near the Homestead Air Reserve Base, about 45 miles south of Miami, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

A 38-year-old woman and 15-year-old boy were found dead inside the home, police said. Three other victims, ages 18, 16 and 11, were taken to the hospital.

One of the victims was in critical condition, while the other two were in stable condition, according to authorities.

The suspect shooter was identified as the 42-year-old boyfriend of one of the victims. He died in the apparent suicide after shooting himself in a nearby location when officers tried to negotiate with him.

Investigators have said that the shooting is domestic, but did not provide any more details.

No arrests have been made after the shooting.
