A Gymnast From U.S. Women's Team Test Positive For COVID-19

Tokyo, JAPAN--- We are only four days before the 2021 Tokyo Olympics after being suspended last year due to the pandemic that has rocked the whole world. Now a new challenge is among Japanese Officials.

Breaking overnight:

Tokyo officials have confirmed to NBC Sports/ News that a Women Gymnast from the United States has the coronavirus. From NBC News, “The gymnast, whom authorities did not publicly identify, tested positive while training for the games in Narita, about 35 miles east of Tokyo, according to city officials. She is between the age of 10 and 19. A statement from USA Gymnastics said that the athlete tested positive Sunday and that she and another alternate member of the team were quarantined.

Now reports show that the United States Olympic Team has dealt with a false positive. However, Tokyo Officials are not taking any chances. 

We have narrowed it down to Leanne Wong, Kayla DiCello, Emma Malabuyo, and Kara Eaker.

This is a breaking story. What we know right now is that it is an alternate US Woman Gymnast has the virus.
