After 11 hours of deliberation’s the jury came back with guilty pleas for each man accused of murdering slain black jogger Ahmaud Arbery. the case wrapped up on Wednesday morning at the Glynn County Courthouse in Georgia.

Tracis McMicheal, his father Gregory McMichael, 65, and their neighbor, William "Roddie" Bryan, 53, could face the rest of their lives behind bars for trapping and shooting Arbery to death with a 12-gauge shotgun on February 23, 2020.

Defense attorney Laura Hogue outraged the parents and supporters of Aubrey when she made a statement regarding his toes by reading the autopsy report of a dead man that caused many to gasp.

"Turning Ahmaud Arbery into a victim after the choices that he made does not reflect the reality of what brought Ahmaud Arbery to Satilla Shores in his khaki shorts with no socks to cover his long, dirty toenails," Hogue told jurors.

Later Monday, she told CNN's John Berman on "AC 360" that the comment was very disturbing.

"I thought it was very, very rude to talk about his long, dirty toenails and to totally neglect that my son had a huge hole in his chest when he was shot with that shotgun," she said.

After deliberations on Tuesday Aubery’s parents stopped to speak with the press outside of the courthouse to say that they believed Ahmaud would receive justice and that God didn’t bring them this far to lose. They also thought that prosecutor Linda Dunikoski did a good job fighting for Ahmaud and were satisfied that they were able to see the evidence in their son's final moments.

You could hear Arbery’s father let out a sigh of release as the first guilty verdict was announced. The judge asked that he leave the courtroom and resumed with the other defendants.
