Top CMA Entertainer of the Year, Eric Church, has announced plans to kick off a new tour starting in Lexington, Kentucky. As the world begins to shift back to more normalcy, Church will become one of the first entertainers to venture out into touring.

Previously, Church last toured in 2019 for the Double Down tour, which later became the highest grossing country tour of the year. All throughout his career, Church has played live shows and was patiently waiting to return to the crowds after the pandemic broke out. Before making the decision, he met with officials including epidemiologists and venue managers to make sure things went as safe as possible for himself, fans, crew, etc. Additionally, he has vocally been supportive of COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Gather Again Tour will take the singer to 55 cities around the country before concluding at the legendary Madison Square Garden next May. The tour marks the first time Church will perform a true in-the-round setup, meaning his stage will be in the center of the room and seats will be sold surrounding it.

Tickets will begin being sold on May 7th, 2021, though fan club member’s can begin purchasing them three days prior.  The tour will officially kick off on September 17th 2021 and will end on May 20th, 2022.

The tour is set to travel for nine months, including back-to-back shows in some high-profile areas such as Washington, D.C. and Green Bay, Wisconsin. As of yet, Nashville is surprisingly not on the itinerary. See the list of full performance dates and locations on his official website here.

Fans can now additionally pre-order his triple album set Heart & Soul now. The album will be released on April 16.
