Spokane Washington Gonzaga men’s basketball guard, Jalen Suggs announces his split from collegiate basketball. He decided Monday to go pro and declared for the NBA draft.

Suggs has a very impressive record especially averaging 14.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. After his half-court buzzer-beater in the NCAA final four, this freshman is expected to be top five in the NBA Draft pick.

The basketball player made this announcement via Twitter stating “I will be entering my name into the NBA Draft and signing with an agency, I’m very excited and I can’t wait to take this next step in my journey. It’s something that I’ve dreamed about since I was a little kid. Gonzaga will always be family to me. . . Coming to Gonzaga was one of the best decisions I ever made. I want to thank Coach Few and the entire GU staff for sharing their knowledge of the game. My teammates, my brothers, I cannot thank them enough. I will always be proud to be a Zag!”

Tune in on July 29 for the NBA Draft.
