Update: The Los Angeles Times has officially confirmed the death of PnB Rock.

Hip Hop music producer and artist PnB Rock whose real name is Rakim Hasheem Allen was reportedly shot after a robbery attempt at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in Inglewood, California in broad daylight Monday afternoon while he was with his girlfriend.

Allen was transported to a local hospital where his condition is unknown at this time, according to Doc Louall of Power 106 radio in Los Angeles.

Multiple reports have stated that Allen's girlfriend posted a photo that gave their location.

No suspects are in custody at this time and they did make off with some of Allen's jewelry.

A Philadelphia native Allen, 30, has worked with many of the top artists in the hip hop community from the late XXXtentacion, 2 Chainz, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Kodak Black, and more. He’s known for hits like “Selfish” and Meek Mill’s song  “Dangerous” which features Jeremih among many others.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and hoping that he pulls through.

This is a breaking and developing story and we will provide more information as it’s updated.
