Some people do know how to let go. That was apparently the case when Jason Alexander, Britney Spear’s first husband, decided to crash her wedding with Sam Asghari. However, he was met with Spear’s personal security while Alexander lived streamed from his phone. Somehow, he managed to get past security but was apprehended before he could make any more commotion.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department responded to a trespassing call and removed Alexander from the premises. In addition to the charges of trespassing, vandalism, and 2 assaults, he faces a felony warrant for larceny. He remains in custody.

Britney Spears' attorney, Mathew Rosengart said,  he's "absolutely livid" Jason tried to crash the wedding and says Alexander needs to be locked up.

Rosengart tells us Britney is safe and adds ... "I am personally working with the sheriff's department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Britney and Jason were married in 2004 which lasted a little over 2 and half days before they called it off. The wedding took place in Las Vegas as a little ceremony.

In 2020, Alexander showed support for Britney during the #FreeBritney movement and hung around outside the L.A. courthouse. Alexander made the comment that he and Britney had communicated.

Meanwhile, Britney and Sam’s wedding is set in L.A. on Thursday. A lot of celebrities will be present including Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, and Gwyneth Paltrow just to name a few.
