Early Tuesday morning in Albertville, Alabama, a man opened fire inside at the Alabama fire hydrant factory, killing two co-workers and injuring another two in the process. The man was later found to be dead in his car, seemingly by means of suicide, according to the Albertville chief of police, Jamie Smith.

According to Smith, the shooter sped away from the scene of the crime. He was later found dead in his vehicle in Guntersville, Alabama, about 26 miles northwest of Albertville.

Authorities have not released the name of the shooter, and his motivations are still unknown.  “For an unknown reason an employee began firing a weapon at fellow employees”, Smith said in a statement.

Luckily, the two injured were taken to Marshall Medical Center for care. Their identities are unknown as well.
