Man Dies After Being Crushed In McDonald’s Drive-Thri

Tony Eyles, 42, was killed last Wednesday in Vancouver, Canada after he was crushed by his vehicle while in the McDonald’s drive-thru.

The tragic freak accident occurred just as Eyles was bending down to retrieve a bank card that he had dropped on the ground when he was pinned and crushed by his moving car.

Eyles worked as an elevator operator mechanic and was from Maple Ridge but was in town for work.

Eyles’ brother-in-law, Neal Pender, tells CTV news that he was “the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back."

“He was just the most doting father and the most loving husband…he was just the perfect guy,” Pender described.

“The kids are understandably not fully grasping it. We’ve just tried to surround them with as much family as we can,” Pender said.

Eyles is survived by his wife and two small children and two Gofundme’s have been set up to help this heartbroken family.
