TMZ reports that Mike Tyson won’t face criminal charges for his airplane rumble with a pesky passenger because of the conduct of the victim leading up to the JetBlue incident on April 20, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney.

At the time Tyson claimed that the victim threw a water bottle which caused him to return the favor with a few jabs to the face, a story that the victim's attorney denied.

The district attorney won’t move forward with charges at the request of the victim and boxing legend Tyson.

Tyson’s attorney thanked Stephen Wagstaffe, the San Mateo County D.A. saying "We thank San Mateo District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe, the San Mateo County Sheriff, and all law enforcement agencies involved in this investigation for their careful, diligent, and professional work.

Hopefully, fans and Tyson will be able to keep their tempers in check in the future.
