Rihanna Returns With Powerful New Single "Lift Me Up

October 28, 2022

Rihanna dived back gracefully on the music scene Friday with a beautifully written song by Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems entitled “Life Me Up” for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. L.M.U. is backed by a beautiful arrangement of strings and a melodic hook with Rihanna gracing the track as only she can do with her vocal runs.

It was a gift to Riri’s fans who've waited six years and who begged for a music release the entire time. The Fenty founder also dropped visuals for the single, which quickly racked up millions of views.

Tems whose real name is Temilade Openiyi took to social media while sharing the single’s cover art to thank Rihanna saying, “Blessed to have written this song in honour of Chadwick Boseman and even more blessed to hear the baddest @badgalriri voice it to perfection.”

Rihanna responded back by saying “It’s the pen for me … love to you sistren” follows by praying hands.

Fans were quick to thank the “Lift Me Up” singer and praised her latest installment.

This song definitely made our hot list with her roaring vocals and now you can listen too!
