Beloved Actor Roger Mosley Of 'Magnum P.I.' Dies After Car Crash At 83

Roger Mosley, best known for his role as Theodore “T.C.” Calvin in the CBS television series Magnum P.I., died on Sunday morning at age 83 at the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, according to a Facebook post shared by his daughter, Ch'a

The post wrote, "He was surrounded by family as he transcended peacefully. We could never mourn such an amazing man. He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all. I love you, daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well and she is in good hands. Rest easy.”

Although no cause of death was given, Mosley was involved in a car accident on Aug 4 that left him partially paralyzed and in critical condition.

Mosley starred in Magnum P.I. for eight years from 1980 to 1988, appearing in 158 episodes. He made a cameo appearance in the show's reboot in 2019.
