Saint Louis Based Imo’s Pizza Sponsors Adoption Fees To Find Pets A Loving Home

For the entire month of June, Imo’s Pizza is covering adoption fees for cats and dogs 6 months and older at Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Instead of worrying about paying the usual fee of $100, Stray Rescue has said that adopters can spend the money on a new pet bed, treats, toys, or other pet necessities instead.

Every adoption includes spaying or neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchipping at the Stray Rescue veterinary clinic. As an additional thank you for adopting, Imo’s has also included a $20 gift card for pizza.

As a no-kill shelter, Stray Rescue saves abandoned, abused, and neglected animals off the streets before finding them their fur-ever home. With so many animals in need, the shelter fills up quickly. So for the past four years, Imo’s Pizza has partnered with Stray Rescue to get these adorable cats and dogs adopted.

Cassady Caldwell, Executive Director of Stray Rescue, said in a press release, “We can't thank Imo's Pizza enough for their continued partnership and friendship over the years. We can't save so many lives without the support of our community, and partners like Imo's Pizza make what we do possible.”

Last year, according to KSDK News, more than 174 adult dogs and cats were adopted out to loving homes. Imo’s Pizza and Stray Rescue hope to make that happen again this year.

“At Imo's we are committed to being good neighbors and giving back to our St. Louis community. We can't think of a better way to do this than by joining two of our favorite things— pets and pizza! We're excited each year for the opportunity to partner with such a great St. Louis organization and help more St. Louis families bring home a new pet from Stray Rescue of Saint Louis today,” said Carl Imo, the president of Imo's Pizza.
