Sadly we are reporting the death of comedian Norm McDonald, who lost his nine year battle with Cancer.

McDonald, 61, passed away on Tuesday after keeping his diagnosis private to many around him.

This is a stunning shock to the comedy and entertainment world since we are just learning of the news.

McDonald was a king in the comedy world and best known for his writing, skits and co-hosting on Saturday Night Live’s ‘Weekend Update’, he starred in his own show called ‘The Norm MacDonald Show’, My Name Is Earl’, 'The Drew Carey Show,' as well as producing on the ‘Roseanne’ show, Dr. Doolittle,' 'Billy Madison,'and a long list of other shows.

This was a man who crossed many boundaries and demographics and who will truly be missed. In a twisted way, he gets the last laugh as we mourn this amazing talent.

He leaves behind a son named Dylan.
