Taylor Swift will be returning to the big screen in a new David O. Russell movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter

The movie is set to star Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, John David Washigton, Chris Rock and many others on the roster.

The New Regency project will see Russell direct from his own script, and is his first time directing a film since 2015’s Joy, which starred Jennifer Lawrence. Russell will be producing the film with Matthew Budman.

The details of the plot have not yet been announced but has already completed production in Los Angeles.

This film will mark Swift’s first on-screen role since 2019’s Cats. Her other acting credits include Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day and the adaptation of the young adult classic The Giver, starring Meryl Streep. She also was the subject of the Netflix documentary Miss Americana, which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
