In Titusville, FL, a 54-year-old man named Christopher Glynn was arrested for stabbing another man with a sword on Monday.

According to WKMG and police, the two men were drinking inside an apartment and began fighting over a TV remote that Glynn was apparently hogging to record his shows.

When investigators were called to the apartment, they had found the victim outside the apartment with stab wounds on his left arm and leg.

Though his wounds were non-life threatening, officers did offer first aid before taking the man to get medical help.

As officers made their way inside the apartment, they found Glynn sitting on the couch with a sword and a wooden scabbard next to him.

Before entering the apartment, officers said that they were able to contact Glynn through a landline and had told officers that he was unable to walk out of his apartment due to a disability.

Glynn was then immediately cuffed and read his Miranda right. To which Glynn confessed to the stabbing describing that he would have “gut him (the victim)” if he had better aim.

Currently Glynn faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
